Gastroenterology Consultants of Savannah (GCS) has been a leading provider of high-quality prevention and treatment services for digestive diseases for the past 39 years. As a member of the front office team at GCS, the role centers on ensuring an excellent patient experience from the moment they enter the practice. This includes delivering friendly, courteous, and respectful customer service, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, updating patient demographics, scheduling appointments, handling payments, and verifying insurance information. The position also requires setting up patients with Phreesia tablets for a smooth check-in process and assisting walk-in patients. Familiarity with patient engagement software like Klara to communicate with patients via text is essential, and knowledge of the ModMed program is considered a valuable asset. The role demands strict adherence to all HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI).
This full-time position entails a 40-hour workweek with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
