Job Requirements
- Experience in healthcare food service, patient dining, or hospitality operations
- Proven ability to lead engage and motivate frontline teams (union experience a plus)
- Strong customer service and patient-focused mindset
- Comfort with scheduling payroll systems and digital meal service platforms
- Hands-on proactive leadership style with ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including weekends
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years management experience
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
- Proven ability to lead, engage, and motivate frontline teams
- Strong customer service and patient-focused mindset
- Comfortable with scheduling, payroll systems, and digital meal service platforms
- Hands-on, proactive leadership style with ability to adapt in fast-paced settings
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including weekends
Job Duties
- Oversee daily patient meal service operations within a bedside dining program
- Lead and manage a team of 25-30 frontline union employees
- Manage staff scheduling and payroll processing
- Conduct patient rounding to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns in real time
- Serve as an opening or closing manager on a rotating schedule including some weekends
- Collaborate with fellow Patient Services Managers to drive service excellence and continuous improvement
- Support meal service operations utilizing HealthTouch menu software
