The company prides itself on treating each patient as a unique individual, tailoring care plans specifically to meet their individual needs. This personalized approach goes beyond clinical expertise to foster deep trust and long-lasting relationships between patients and the care team. Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is committed to transforming smiles and positively impacting patients' lives, striving to create experiences that patients remember fondly.
The role of a Front Desk team member, also known as a Patient Concierge, is vital to maintaining the five-star patient experience Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is known for. Serving as both the "first impression" when patients arrive and the "final memory" upon their departure, Patient Concierges play an essential role in shaping patient satisfaction. This position is full-time, with hourly compensation ranging from $14.00 to $15.00, reflecting the importance of providing comprehensive administrative and interpersonal support.
Patient Concierges greet patients warmly and engage them in open, educational conversations to explain the visit, answer questions, and alleviate concerns. They manage patient paperwork, perform insurance verification, and schedule appointments for new patients, recalls, or emergencies. Additionally, they are cross-trained in basic back-office functions to better support seamless operations and contribute to the overall five-star experience that patients expect.
Working as a Patient Concierge at Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics demands exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. The ideal candidate is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure patients feel cared for and appreciated. Strong organizational skills and adaptability are crucial, especially in a dynamic office environment where priorities can shift rapidly. Patient Concierges are expected to motivate and lead by fostering relationships based on trust, open dialogue, and collaboration, enhancing the cohesive culture of the office team.
Team members work five days a week including alternating Saturdays, with two Saturdays per month being mandatory. Physical demands of the role include standing, walking, handling office tasks, and occasional sitting or stooping, among others. Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics provides reasonable accommodations to support employees with disabilities, emphasizing an inclusive workplace. Occasionally, travel to assist other locations or for training purposes may be required.
Overall, this role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a respected dental care provider, contributing directly to life-changing patient experiences while benefitting from competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment focused on personal and professional growth.
