The company’s commitment to patient care is evident through its dedication to creating an outstanding patient experience, going beyond mere dental treatment to truly change people’s lives by putting confident smiles on their faces.
This role is for a Front Desk team member, also known as a Patient Concierge, who plays a critical part in delivering the exceptional five-star patient experience Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is known for. The Patient Concierge serves as both the first impression and the final memory for every patient interaction within the practice. In this position, team members are responsible for greeting patients warmly and professionally, addressing any questions or concerns patients might have, and providing an overview of their visit. Patient Concierges handle various administrative duties including processing patient paperwork, verifying insurance information, and efficiently scheduling appointments for new patients, routine recalls, and emergencies. Additionally, Patient Concierges receive cross-training in basic back-office functions, allowing them to support the team comprehensively and enhance the overall patient experience.

Ideal candidates are excellent communicators capable of confidently educating patients, leading teams by building trust and fostering open communication, and contributing to a positive, collaborative office culture. Organizational skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and the ability to manage diverse groups effectively are equally important qualities. The job type is full-time with pay ranging between $14.00 - $15.00 per hour. Work hours vary by location and include five days per week with alternating Saturdays required. Two Saturdays each month are mandatory for all team members. The role may occasionally require travel to alternate locations or for training purposes.
The work environment involves regular physical activities such as talking, hearing, standing, walking, handling objects, and reaching. Occasionally, employees may need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The position requires good vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform their duties successfully. Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance, making it a rewarding and supportive place to work.
