Job Description

Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is a respected dental care provider that has been serving communities since its inception in Texas in 1967. Known for its personalized approach to dentistry, Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics takes pride in not only offering excellent clinical care but also nurturing meaningful relationships with its patients. This commitment to individualized care ensures that every patient's unique needs are carefully considered when creating their treatment plans, fostering trust and comfort. At Jefferson, the focus transcends traditional dentistry; the team passionately aims to deliver life-changing smiles that boost confidence and well-being for patients of all ages.

The company is seeking Front Desk team members, also identified as Patient Concierges, who play a critical role in crafting a memorable and positive patient experience. As the "first impression" and "final memory" during patient interactions, Patient Concierges are responsible for greeting patients warmly, engaging in open and educational conversations about their visits, and effectively addressing any questions or concerns patients may have. These professionals manage essential administrative tasks including processing patient paperwork, verifying insurance details, and scheduling a range of appointment types such as new patient visits, recalls, and emergencies. Beyond front desk responsibilities, Patient Concierges receive cross-training in basic back-office functions to further support the goal of delivering five-star service.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $15.00, with work schedules varying by location. Employees typically work five days a week, which includes alternating Saturdays, with two mandatory Saturdays each month. The role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to build trusting relationships within a collaborative office culture. Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics values individuals who are motivated to go above and beyond in customer service excellence and who are organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Working at Jefferson entails meeting certain physical demands such as standing, walking, manual handling, and occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing. Employees must have a range of vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable employees with disabilities to perform their job duties effectively. Occasional travel may be required for support or training purposes.

This opportunity offers a supportive and engaging environment where employees contribute significantly to patient happiness and health. Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Joining Jefferson means becoming part of a dedicated team that truly changes lives one smile at a time.
