Job Description

Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is a renowned dental care provider with a rich history dating back to its founding in Texas in 1967. Over the decades, Jefferson Dental has grown into a trusted name in oral health services, known not only for clinical excellence but also for a deeply personal approach to patient care. The company emphasizes treating each patient as a unique individual, tailoring care plans to meet the specific needs and circumstances of every person who walks through their doors. This level of personalized service sets Jefferson Dental apart, ensuring that patients receive more than just standard dental treatment — they receive comprehensive, compassionate attention that puts their comfort and wellbeing at the forefront. The culture at Jefferson Dental encourages a patient-first mentality, where every team member is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment that helps patients feel at ease and valued. This approach has helped the organization build lifelong relationships with patients and has positioned it as a leader in the dental industry in Texas and beyond.

The role of a Patient Concierge at Jefferson Dental is pivotal to delivering the exceptional 5-star patient experience the company is known for. Serving as the frontline representatives of the office, Patient Concierges are the "first impression" and "final memory" for patients, playing a crucial role in setting a positive tone for each visit. This position involves a combination of administrative duties and customer service responsibilities, providing a dynamic work environment where multitasking and interpersonal skills are highly valued. Patient Concierges greet patients with warmth and professionalism, provide clear and informative communication about patients' visits, manage paperwork and insurance verification processes, and coordinate appointment scheduling including for new patients, routine recalls, and emergency visits. Beyond these front desk responsibilities, Patient Concierges are cross-trained in basic back office functions to enhance their ability to support clinical staff and contribute to a seamless patient experience.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage between $14.00 and $15.00 and requires availability to work five days a week, including alternating Saturdays. The role demands strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced office setting. Candidates who excel in this role are those who are personable and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service, can communicate clearly and effectively, and are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Joining Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics means becoming part of a team that not only values professional competence but also fosters a culture of trust, collaboration, and respect among its staff members. Employees are supported with benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and participation in a 401(k) plan. This role offers the chance to build a rewarding career in a supportive and enriching workplace that values each employee’s contribution and invests in their personal and professional growth.
