Job Description
Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics has been a trusted dental care provider since its establishment in Texas in 1967. Known for its personable and caring approach, Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics prioritizes seeing every patient as a unique individual and crafting personalized care plans that address their specific dental needs. This dedication to individualized patient care has made Jefferson a beloved name for dental and orthodontic services, earning the trust and loyalty of communities near and far. The company recognizes that clinical skill alone is not enough to build meaningful patient relationships; it is the compassion, communication, and commitment from every team member that truly transforms lives. Jefferson Dental aims not just to improve smiles but to change lives, ensuring that every patient leaves feeling confident and cared for. As a growing dental network, Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics is continually looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference in patients' lives and delivering exceptional experiences in a supportive, collaborative work environment.
The role of a Front Desk team member, also commonly referred to as a Patient Concierge, is critical to Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics' mission to provide five-star patient experiences. These individuals act as the first point of contact and the final friendly face patients encounter during their visits. The Patient Concierge is responsible for greeting patients warmly, helping them feel welcomed and valued from the moment they step into the office. Their role involves engaging with patients through clear and informative communication, providing detailed explanations about their visits, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. This position also includes managing essential administrative tasks such as processing patient paperwork, verifying insurance information, and scheduling appointments—including new patient visits, recall check-ups, and emergency care.
Beyond these front office duties, Patient Concierges at Jefferson Dental may receive cross-training in basic back office functions, equipping them to support patients and clinical staff alike and further contribute to the seamless delivery of care. Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics emphasizes a collaborative office culture where team members build trust and maintain open communication with patients and colleagues. By joining this team, individuals become part of a dynamic and supportive workplace that values adaptability, organization, and a dedication to going above and beyond to provide exceptional service. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $14.00 to $15.00, with work schedules typically including five days a week along with alternating Saturdays. The company also accommodates reasonable adjustments to help employees successfully meet the physical demands of the role and encourages occasional travel to assist other locations or participate in training sessions. Overall, this opportunity is ideal for customer-focused individuals eager to play a vital role in a welcoming dental environment dedicated to positively impacting patients’ lives.
