Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) upon hire required
- Ability to work under supervision of licensed clinical staff
- Demonstrate proficiency with treatments, procedures, and medical equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude
- Willingness to assist with routine patient care tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year of patient care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred
Job Duties
- Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff
- Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to hospital policy
- Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes
- Attend to patients' basic needs such as hygiene and mobility
- Ensure patient comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
