This position involves acting as a crucial communication link between the practice and its patients, staff, and providers from the initial patient contact through the entire continuum of care. The incumbent must excel at fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere through consistent and thoughtful patient interactions while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the practice's offerings and policies. The role demands standing for the duration of the shift, emphasizing a high-energy and dedicated approach. Responsibilities include managing multiple scheduling platforms, coordinating efficiently with physicians and staff, and ensuring all patient needs are met with urgency and professionalism. Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload
- Proficient with computer systems and scheduling software
- Must be able to maintain professionalism in all interactions

Job Qualifications
- Strong computer skills and ability to work in other programs and quickly adapt to new software including use of a Voip phone system
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Able to work effectively with physicians and staff members to prioritize and organize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service regardless of circumstances
- Capable of processing requests for information quickly and accurately, and involving other employees, when appropriate, to ensure patient needs are met
- Skillful in adapting a well-spoken communication style to interact with a variety of personality types, while ensuring any message is conveyed clearly and concisely with a positive demeanor
- Commitment to maintaining progressive knowledge and skills essential to successfully perform the duties outlined herein

Job Duties
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact for all patient inquiries including, telephone, email, and website
- Schedule, encourage, and confirm appointments for several providers, using multiple platforms, and ensuring all scheduling criteria have been met
- Efficiently prepare patients for visits by providing and collecting any necessary documentation and information, using timely correspondence and adequate follow through
- Warmly greet all guests
- introduce and credential the practice and providers
- Confirm accurate and current intake has been collected and entered
- Execute proper and thorough communication methods with team members as necessary to ensure complete and resolute service is provided to all patients
- Review pricing, practice specials, and details of accepted rewards programs
- Work with an urgency to comfort and provide for all patients, at all times
- Maintain tidy and comfortable settings, both environmentally and personally
- Support, incorporate, and assist in the development of practice mission and goals
- Preserve current and/or create new policies and procedures in accordance with all HIPAA requirements to ensure Private Health Information remains confidential
- Remain active in continuing education to ensure knowledge base is current and consistent with expectations of the practice and healthcare industry
- Sustain an organized and prepared workflow and workspace by maintaining completion of duties and evaluate opportunities for improvement
