Job Description
MedMark Treatment Centers is a progressive substance abuse treatment organization dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care within a comfortable outpatient clinic setting. Known for its compassionate approach and holistic methods, MedMark focuses on addressing the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of opioid use disorder. With a strong commitment to helping patients achieve long-term recovery and improved quality of life, the center offers a supportive and structured environment tailored towards overcoming the opioid epidemic. MedMark Treatment Centers takes pride in its adherence to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles and complies fully with all federal, state, and local laws prohibiting employment discrimination based on race, color, age, national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship, genetic disposition, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification.
The role of Patient Care Monitor/Greeter at MedMark Treatment Centers is a vital position focused on maintaining safety and order within the clinic premises. This full-time position requires an individual who is respectful, vigilant, and alert to ensure a secure environment for both patients and staff. The primary responsibility includes welcoming patients and maintaining orderly conduct, particularly during medication dispensing times, to prevent loitering or disturbances. The Patient Care Monitor serves as the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic by verifying their identification and creating a structured waiting area. Additional responsibilities involve crowd control to ensure patients leave the building promptly after medication unless they have a scheduled appointment, reporting critical incidents to the Operations or Clinic Director, and cooperating with local authorities during emergencies.
An essential aspect of this role is to maintain a safe environment throughout the facility, conducting regular security checks and being proactive in deterring any disruptions. The Patient Care Monitor must consistently display professionalism by wearing appropriate attire and identification, while also providing backup support for receptionist duties as needed. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills to establish a positive rapport with patients and staff from all disciplines, blending firmness with courtesy and helpfulness. Working at MedMark Treatment Centers offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the fight against opioid addiction while growing professionally within a supportive and dynamic clinical team. The organization provides competitive salary packages, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), as well as generous paid time off and excellent growth and development opportunities, all aimed at fostering a rewarding and fulfilling career in substance abuse treatment and patient care.
