The role of Patient Care Manager at Baptist Health is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the interdisciplinary leadership, clinical practice, and staff development within one or more nursing service areas. This is a full-time position offering an estimated salary range of $112,081.46 to $149,068.34 per year, depending on experience, and includes a sign-on bonus available with relevant experience. The Patient Care Manager utilizes participative management concepts to plan, innovate, coordinate, direct, and evaluate patient services, ensuring alignment with the Division of Patient Services’ philosophy, objectives, and policies.
In this role, the manager ensures nursing care standards are upheld across the continuum of care and demonstrates fiscal responsibility by effectively allocating resources to promote efficient, safe, and compassionate care. The manager encourages shared decision making by incorporating staff input into executive-level decisions and keeping the team informed about higher-level organizational activities. Key areas of expertise for the Patient Care Manager include clinical practice guidelines, evidence-based administration, fiscal management, healthcare evaluation, nursing workload measurement, performance improvement, patient safety systems, and service excellence.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Registered Nurse license
- Five years clinical experience
- Two years leadership experience preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- Master's degree preferred if BSN
- Master's required if ADN
- Member of professional nursing organization
- Certification in specialty or Nursing Administration within two years
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as unit standard
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Registered Nurse license
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- Master's degree in nursing or healthcare/management preferred if BSN graduate

- Minimum five years of clinical specialty experience
- At least two years of leadership experience preferred
- Membership in professional nursing organization
- Certification in specialty or Nursing Administration within two years of hire or promotion
- ACLS, PALS, NRP required as per unit standards
