The position available at Adventist Health Reedley is for an administrative role dedicated to supporting department operations through a broad array of clerical and administrative duties. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth workflow within the department and requires a professional approach to all forms of communication, both written and verbal. The candidate will be responsible for general receptionist duties, maintaining patient medical records, department reports, and statistical data. Additionally, the role demands oversight of office and medical supplies, equipment inventories, budgetary tracking including department costs, and personnel files. The administrative assistant will perform secretarial and clerical tasks such as drafting and editing correspondence, managing phone inquiries, scheduling patient appointments, and handling incoming and outgoing mail. They will also assist with patient document preparation and take an active part in departmental quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Using and updating departmental databases is also a key responsibility. Beyond these routine tasks, the candidate may be expected to take on other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Job Requirements
- high school education/GED or equivalent preferred
- associate's/technical degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
- ability to perform broad range of clerical and administrative duties
