AudioNova, part of Sonova, is actively seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join its clinic located at 1101 California Ave, Suite 100 in Corona, CA. This full-time role offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, creating a work-life balance for the successful candidate. The pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 an hour, complemented by a sales incentive program that rewards performance. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the clinic's frontline team, working closely with clinical staff to ensure patients receive high-quality care and support throughout their hearing health journey. This role involves scheduling and confirming patient appointments, verifying insurance benefits, collecting patient intake and payment information, and providing friendly and professional customer service. You will support hearing care professionals by processing repairs, managing patient files, preparing bank deposits, and assisting with community outreach events. This role requires excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- associates degree preferred
- 2+ years in a health care environment preferred
- previous customer service experience required
- professional verbal and written communication
- strong relationship-building skills
- experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- EMR/EHR experience a plus
- fluency in Spanish preferred

Job Duties
- Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude
- place outbound calls to current and former patients for scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations
- collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files and notes
- schedule and confirm patient appointments
- complete benefit checks and authorization for patients' insurance
- provide first level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in and out, and collect and process payments
- process repairs under the supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional
- prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance
- maintain general sales knowledge for accessories and support
- process patient orders, verify pickup, and input information into system
- clean and maintain equipment and instruments
- submit equipment and facility requests
- perform general office duties including cleaning
- manage inventory, order and monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed
- assist with event planning and logistics for community outreach events
