The company is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing challenges by providing the latest technology and comprehensive support through a network of experienced professionals. As a recognized and trusted provider in audiology, MLM Beltone is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment both for their patients and employees, ensuring high standards of care and operational excellence. The organization’s broad presence and history reflect its commitment to accessibility, community integration, and continuous advancement in hearing health services.
The position of Patient Care Coordinator (Administrative Assistant) is a crucial role within MLM Beltone’s operational framework. This role is based in Pittsburgh and McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, offering a four-day work week with 8-hour shifts that promote work-life balance. The position pays between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour and involves working directly with patients and clinic staff to facilitate smooth and efficient clinic operations. The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, offering a welcoming and professional patient-centered approach designed to establish trust, recognize patient needs, and deliver tailored solutions. Key responsibilities include managing appointment scheduling, screening patient calls to identify candidates who may benefit from hearing services, coordinating provider schedules, and ensuring excellent patient flow during clinic hours. This role also includes tasks related to patient check-in and check-out, payment collection, revenue tracking, petty cash reconciliation, bank deposits, and processing insurance claims. Importantly, the Patient Care Coordinator may also travel to nearby clinics, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
This position demands a strong blend of administrative, customer service, organizational, and basic accounting skills. Candidates should have experience in office management within customer-driven industries, accompanied by proficient computer skills and familiarity with word processing and database software. Effective communication is essential, including excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, attentiveness to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks within deadlines. Physical demands require the ability to handle a busy office environment and occasional lifting of boxes up to 20 pounds. MLM Beltone offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan, demonstrating their commitment to employee well-being and career growth. By joining MLM Beltone, you will join a supportive, patient-focused team with opportunities for professional development and growth. This role provides the chance to be part of a respected healthcare organization that values dedication, service excellence, and leadership potential.
