Crothall Healthcare is currently hiring full-time Patient Ambassadors to join their patient experience team based at the UK Healthcare location in Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves serving as the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for assigned units by conducting patient interviews and new admission visits. Patient Ambassadors ensure that all customer interactions are marked by hospitality and respect, contributing to high levels of client satisfaction and account retention. The position operates on a full-time schedule primarily during the first shift with varied hours that may include weekends. The fixed pay rate is $18.50 per hour.
This role is crucial in fostering positive patient experiences by promoting awareness of the Patient Experience Program, assisting in customizing programs to fit account-specific needs, and supporting employee relations and innovation within their respective units. Patient Ambassadors actively participate in monitoring patient satisfaction action plans and offer recognition for successful implementation of programs. Additionally, they assist with housekeeping tasks as requested and help ensure that housekeeping standards meet client expectations.
Candidates must possess prior customer service experience and proficiency in English speaking skills. The role requires solid knowledge of office procedures and contract administration, alongside fiscal and budgetary skills. Job Duties
- Conduct new admission visits to all assigned units within timeframe established by unit leadership and patient experience leadership
- Ensure that all employees demonstrate an aggressive hospitality (respect) orientation toward customers and clients
- Support client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention
- Promote client awareness of the Patient Experience Program
- Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's unique needs as required
- Assist in developing and/or monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan and reporting to clients as needed
- Assist in effective employee relations programs at unit site
