Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum three years medical office experience
- One to two years customer service experience in a medical setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with EpicCare preferred
- Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Must understand basic accounts receivable and patient account processes
- Previous healthcare setting experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with EpicCare electronic health record system
- Basic understanding of accounts receivable and patient account management
- Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Duties
- Greet and register patients according to Froedtert and the Medical College Performance Excellence Customer Service Standards
- Verify and update patient demographic information
- Collect copays, supplies payments, and payments for services rendered
- Balance daily cash collections and obtain patient signatures
- Assist patients with ancillary appointment scheduling and completing necessary forms
- Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments
- Answer and direct telephone calls
- Perform all other duties as assigned
