The Pastry Supervisor role at Legends Global is a pivotal leadership position tasked with overseeing pastry production operations for catering events, premium suites, concessions, and special events at two major venues: the Caesars Superdome and the Smoothie King Center. This position works closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and the wider pastry leadership team to meticulously plan and execute pastry production. The role demands a highly motivated individual with a passion for culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the capacity to uphold stringent food quality and safety standards. The Pastry Supervisor ensures that all pastry products meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency while maintaining operational efficiency and team effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a key player in the production process, the supervisor assists in event execution, manages employee schedules, monitors labor productivity, and supports inventory management. A strong collaborator and communicator, the Pastry Supervisor encourages a team-oriented mindset while fostering a clean and food-safe kitchen environment. Job Requirements
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across two venues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume bakery, pastry shop, or scratch production kitchen preferred
- Formal culinary or pastry training preferred
- equivalent experience through mentorship or apprenticeship considered
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Job Duties
- Execute daily pastry production for catered events, game-day operations, premium suites, and concessions
- Ensure all recipes and product specifications are followed accurately and consistently
- Assist with production planning and event execution
- Support pastry distribution to designated service locations
- Supervise and support pastry team members in daily operations
- Monitor employee scheduling, labor hours, and productivity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment
- Assist with inventory management, product rotation, and waste tracking
