The Pastry Supervisor role at Legends Global is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of pastry production across all stadium outlets, premium spaces, restaurants, catering services, and special events. This role reports directly to the Executive Pastry Chef and plays a critical leadership role in guiding the pastry team to meet business demands while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Pastry Supervisor oversees the production of pastries, breads, desserts, and specialty items ensuring product consistency, presentation excellence, adherence to recipes, and food safety compliance. Key responsibilities include scheduling, training, and mentoring team members, managing inventory and stock rotation, coordinating production for high-profile events such as game days and concerts, and maintaining a hygienic and organized work environment. This position demands a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of pastry techniques and operational efficiency. Working collaboratively with culinary leadership, the Pastry Supervisor also contributes to menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal offerings. The role is dynamic, requiring flexibility, problem-solving, and a commitment to upholding professional and food safety standards. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • minimum of 2 years of pastry or baking experience in a high-volume operation
  • previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business demands require
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and develop pastry team members
  • oversee daily production of pastries, breads, desserts, and specialty items to meet forecasted business demands
  • ensure consistent product quality, presentation, portion control, and adherence to standardized recipes
  • coordinate pastry production for game days, concerts, premium events, and catering functions
  • maintain proper inventory levels by monitoring product usage, receiving deliveries, rotating stock (FIFO), and minimizing waste
  • ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health department, and company policies and procedures
  • monitor labor productivity and assist with staffing assignments to support operational needs
  • inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe operation of kitchen equipment
  • assist with menu development, recipe execution, plating standards, and seasonal offerings
  • resolve operational issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism and teamwork
  • complete inventory counts, product reconciliations, and required operational documentation
  • perform other duties as assigned
