Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- willing to work variable hours according to event schedules
- ability to lift and transport food and items up to 30 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
- physical mobility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, reach, wipe, push, and pull for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Pastry culinary degree or certified apprenticeship program graduate
- 2-3 years experience in contract foodservice, preferably premium services, catering, and concessions
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize under deadlines
- strong leadership and management skills
- customer service oriented with ability to interact with all management levels
- proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- high level of organization and attention to detail
- ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- ability to make decisions without immediate supervision
- ability to carry out responsibility for directions
- flexible to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Directs, implements, and maintains a guest service and management philosophy that guides team members
- meets with Executive Culinary Team to review assignments, business levels, and changes
- applies strong pastry fundamentals in daily operations
- utilizes knowledge of bread baking and advanced pastry techniques
- maintains and follows County Health and Legends Hospitality sanitation standards
- multitasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- ensures positive guest relations consistently
- provides efficient service and quality products by maintaining positive client communication and financial practices
- ensures all equipment is operational and cleaned regularly
- exhibits leadership through consistent communication, commendations, and disciplinary actions
- performs related duties as required
