Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous banquet experience in a similar setting is required
  • TABC and Texas Food Handler Certification
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of baking operations
  • Assist in managing needed supplies and inventory levels
  • Decorate baked products using glaze, icing and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance
  • Assess the quality of raw materials before baking
  • Help conduct research to develop original recipes for products
  • Ensure the high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are always maintained throughout the kitchen areas
  • Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils
