This full-time position is housed in the central commissary bakery, which serves as the production hub for the group's CafÉ and OBO brand restaurants. As Pastry Sous Chef, you will take charge of overseeing the daily preparation of a wide variety of artisanal baked goods, including breads, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, jars, and bars. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and consistency across all bakery production lines.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume production bakery
- Valid California Food Handler Card or ServSafe Manager Certification or willingness to obtain
- Positive, organized, attentive leadership approach
- Willing to work mornings, afternoons, or evenings as business dictates
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of proven leadership experience managing people, inventory, training, and recipe adherence in a high-volume production bakery
- Ability to mentor and develop team members effectively
- Strong knowledge of artisanal pastry techniques and bakery operations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Valid California Food Handler Card or ServSafe Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive, organized, and attentive leadership mindset
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed
Job Duties
- Oversee the daily preparation, scaling, baking, and execution of artisanal breads, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, jars, and bars to strict company standards
