Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of pastry experience required
  • Experience with lamination techniques preferred
  • Flexible availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to mentor and train team members
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to manage food and labor costs effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of pastry experience
  • Experience producing high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty baked goods in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with lamination techniques preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

  • Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
  • Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
  • Label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • Maintain production knowledge and attention to detail with decoration and taste quality
  • Assist Pastry Chef, other Assistant Pastry Chefs, bakers, and helpers as needed in execution of production
  • Conduct training for bakers and helpers on job responsibilities
  • Communicate with management and service staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees
  • Assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling food and labor cost, and establish goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people
  • Assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of all kitchen items
