The LINE is more than just a group of hotels; it is a vibrant, creative community centered around discovery, cultural exploration, and architectural intrigue. With properties located in dynamic neighborhoods such as Koreatown in Los Angeles, Adams Morgan in Washington DC, and downtown Austin, the LINE brand is deeply rooted in the uniqueness of each city. These hotels are recognized for their passion in blending local culture, arts, cuisine, and design to provide guests with an immersive experience that connects them to the spirit of their surroundings. The LINE is known for collaborating with top creative talents both locally and nationally, crafting spaces that are socially engaging and culturally enriching while maintaining an impeccable standard of hospitality. The company's commitment to diversity and inclusivity, alongside a welcoming environment for employees and guests alike, positions it as a leader in the boutique hospitality sector.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Pastry Sous Chef to join our culinary team at the LINE. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and have a genuine passion for baking and pastry arts. The Pastry Sous Chef works closely with the Pastry Chef to maintain the highest quality of baked goods and pastries served across our properties. This position demands an entrepreneurial spirit, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. The Pastry Sous Chef also plays a crucial role in training and mentoring staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and contributing to the overall guest experience by upholding the LINE's standards of professionalism, friendliness, and service excellence.

This full-time position offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance, and 401(k) plans with matching. Employees at the LINE enjoy a positive, respectful work environment enriched by opportunities for personal and professional growth. The role calls for someone with strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a dedication to operational excellence in a fun and challenging kitchen setting.
