The Pastry Sales Manager role at The Chefs Warehouse represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to this mission by driving sales and revenue growth in the pastry product category. The position involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans that align with company goals to increase market share and promote product expansion within this specialized segment. The Pastry Sales Manager will oversee a dedicated sales team, manage key customer accounts, and collaborate closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling product presentations, promotional campaigns, and sales collateral.

This role requires a strong understanding of the pastry market, including industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics. The Pastry Sales Manager is responsible for monitoring market developments to identify new business opportunities and ensuring that The Chefs Warehouse maintains its competitive edge. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with additional certifications or specialized training in sales and marketing considered a plus. Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the pastry or broader food industry, is essential, along with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are required to build lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating excellent customer satisfaction and order fulfillment.

As part of the role, proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems is necessary to track sales performance and customer interactions efficiently. The Pastry Sales Manager should be willing and able to travel to meet customers and attend industry events as needed.
