Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year pastry cook experience
  • fine dining experience preferred
  • certified Food Handler in Nevada
  • ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • able to perform repetitive motions
  • flexible availability for varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to work PM dinner service
  • compliant with health and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • fine dining experience preferred
  • certified Food Handler in Nevada
  • strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking principles

Job Duties

  • Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
  • accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
  • maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department
  • possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
  • communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
  • required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
  • properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
  • reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
  • portrays a positive and professional attitude
  • thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
  • wants to learn and helps team members do the same
  • loves baking/dessert making and being part of a like-minded team
  • is a certified Food Handler in Nevada
  • attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable)
