Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a 4-5 star hospitality environment
- Food Handler’s Certificate required
- Ability to stand and walk for entire 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift minimum of 80 pounds
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work varying schedules
- CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a 4-5 star hospitality environment
- Ability to comprehend and follow recipes
- Ability to operate, clean and maintain culinary equipment
- Ability to produce created and artistic pastry items
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Food Handler’s Certificate
Job Duties
- Supply assigned workstation with products and culinary equipment for production
- Understand and maintain all standard pastry recipes
- Assist in producing and plating pastries and desserts
- Produce creative and artistic food items
- Responsible for production of sweet items for all outlets and banquets
- Visually inspect and select freshest food products
- Maintain clean and sanitized workstation
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
- Work cohesively with culinary staff
- Perform job functions with minimal supervision
