Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift while also walking, bending, reaching, and performing other repetitive motions
  • capacity to follow detailed recipes and portion controls
  • willingness to work flexible schedules including holidays, evenings, and weekends
  • previous pastry kitchen experience

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • basic math skills with the ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements
  • capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
  • capacity to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
  • keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked, and utilize kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as knives, slicers, pots, steamers, and ovens
  • ensure proper baking temperatures are maintained, and food is stored correctly
  • perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
  • maintain high attention to detail in preparation and presentation
  • collaborate effectively with kitchen and service team members
  • adhere to safety and hygiene standards at all times
