We are currently seeking a Pastry Cook/Baker to join our dedicated baking team. The Pastry Cook/Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious pastries including cookies, cakes, breads, and other baked goods according to established recipes and portioning guidelines. Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate a plus
  • Completion of a culinary school program or apprenticeship a plus
  • Experience in pastry-making
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Assists with the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts and baked goods
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
  • Operates and cleans equipment after each use
  • Performs scheduled routine cleaning
  • Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
  • Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
  • Performs other duties as assigned
