Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in baking or pastry preparation preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pastry cook, baker, or similar role preferred
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and kitchen operations
- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules with precision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary school training is a plus, but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all products meet the resort's quality, taste, and presentation expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with daily production planning, including prep lists and inventory awareness
- Support banquet and special event pastry production as needed
- Properly store and label all ingredients and finished products
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure seamless service across all outlets
