Among the highlights are a renowned championship golf course famous for hosting major tournaments, a full-service golf shop, driving range, practice facilities, and a unique Par 3 course. Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy eight outdoor tennis courts which include two dedicated pickleball courts and a tennis shop to fulfill all their equipment needs. For families, the club offers a spacious and inviting pool complex featuring a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, a cafe for refreshments, and an active children’s club that provides engaging activities and entertainment for younger members.

These benefits highlight the club’s commitment to valuing its staff and encouraging professional growth and job satisfaction.
The cook position at Cherry Hills Country Club is integral to the smooth operation of the club’s culinary services. This role is primarily responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, ensuring food production, line cooking, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. As a cook, you will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and procedures, help maintain sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen, and adhere to local, state, and federal food safety regulations. You will also be expected to coordinate and time orders effectively with other kitchen stations, set up and break down work areas, and assist with the upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment. This position requires flexibility as you may be asked to work multiple stations or locations within the kitchen, and to open or close the kitchen according to established procedures.
Working at Cherry Hills Country Club means joining a team that prides itself on delivering an exceptional service experience to its members and guests. The club values professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement in culinary standards. The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong culinary knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory, as the club encourages the development of its culinary staff. The role demands physical endurance and the ability to handle tasks such as lifting heavy objects, working with various kitchen equipment, and occasionally working outdoors in different weather conditions.
This seasonal position offers competitive pay at $25 per hour, with sick pay accrual and a comprehensive benefits package. Cherry Hills Country Club is an equal opportunity employer and performs background screening as part of its hiring process. Embracing a culture of respect, quality, and family-friendly values, the club provides a unique and rewarding work setting for dedicated culinary professionals looking to contribute to a respected and historic institution.
