Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years pastry experience
  • College degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
  • Food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
  • Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
  • Read, write and speak and understand English
  • Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years pastry experience
  • College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Proficient in English
  • Understanding of financial goals related to pastry operations
  • Experience with food safety standards
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and confections
  • Assist in the development and presentation of dessert menus
  • Collaborate with pastry chefs to learn and apply new techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen
  • Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage inventory and ingredient quality
  • Support team efforts during busy service hours
