Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing them before use
  • Safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances for measuring and baking
  • Follow and ensure compliance with food handling and personal hygiene safety policies and procedures
  • Check and ensure that the temperature of kitchen appliances and food is correct and report any issues to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen areas
  • Set up and divide workstations
  • Follow and adhere to hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Monitor the quality of food prepared and served portions throughout the shift
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
  • Complete all safety training and certifications
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer phones using appropriate protocols
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to achieve common goals
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull and place without assistance items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Stretch overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, turning and stooping
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
