Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • less than one year of related work experience
  • no experience as supervisor required
  • ability to move, lift, push, drag, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted
  • capability to work on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • ability to stretch above head and below knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
  • commitment to maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality
  • adherence to safety and hygiene regulations

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent general education development (GED)
  • less than one year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no licenses or certifications required

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklists
  • prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
  • safely and properly use cooking tools, equipment, and appliances
  • follow and ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene policies
  • check and verify correct temperatures of appliances and food, reporting issues to management
  • wash and sanitize kitchen areas, organize workstations, and follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the workday
