Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- less than one year of related work experience
- no experience as supervisor required
- ability to move, lift, push, drag, and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted
- capability to work on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- ability to stretch above head and below knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
- commitment to maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality
- adherence to safety and hygiene regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent general education development (GED)
- less than one year of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- no licenses or certifications required
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklists
- prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing before use
- safely and properly use cooking tools, equipment, and appliances
- follow and ensure compliance with food safety and personal hygiene policies
- check and verify correct temperatures of appliances and food, reporting issues to management
- wash and sanitize kitchen areas, organize workstations, and follow hygiene and cleaning procedures
- monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the workday
