This full-time non-management Food and Beverage position is based at 201 E Trade St, Charlotte, North Carolina. The role centers on food preparation and culinary duties, adhering strictly to the company's quality, hygiene, and safety standards. The team member will prepare and cook food following established recipes and presentation criteria, portioning and processing ingredients for cooking, and ensuring proper storage. Safe and proper use of kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances such as measurement and baking devices is essential to maintain high standards. Additionally, this position requires monitoring the cooking and storage temperatures, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area, and supporting team efforts to meet shared goals.

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Portion, chop, and store ingredients prior to cooking
  • Use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances safely and correctly for measuring and baking
  • Follow and enforce food handling and personal hygiene safety policies and procedures
  • Monitor cooking and appliance temperatures and report any issues to management
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen area, set up workstations, and comply with hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Maintain food quality and portion control throughout the workday
