Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, celebrating the Golden Age of Travel with a unique island paradise theme, is seeking a Pastry Cook I to join their culinary team. This position plays a vital role in the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, responsible for the production and presentation of exquisite desserts across multiple hotel outlets. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to blend classic pastry skills with modern culinary creativity will be essential in delivering refined, visually stunning desserts that meet luxury brand standards.
The position requires a proactive approach to kitchen hygiene, food safety, and inventory management, ensuring that all procedures align with HACCP standards. Effective communication and teamwork are crucial as you coordinate with various culinary and service departments to meet pastry needs throughout the hotel. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, to support the dynamic demands of hotel operations.
