The position of Baker at The Ritz-Carlton is a vital role within the culinary team, responsible for preparing breads and pastries to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role involves preparing doughs, fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating, all while adhering strictly to recipe guidelines and safety standards. Bakers are expected to maintain meticulous kitchen logs to comply with food safety programs and monitor kitchen equipment temperatures to ensure optimal baking conditions. Additionally, the role requires close communication with the Chef regarding excess food items to assist in planning daily specials.
