Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a pastry cook or baker
- Experience in high volume banquet or pastry commissary production
- Knowledge of production bread, proofing, fillings, frostings, cakes, mousses, and batters
- Knowledge of high volume production baking equipment
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
- Strong piping skills and ability to finish and decorate pastries
- Hotel experience preferred
- Open availability with flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Working knowledge of high volume production baking equipment including commercial ovens, large scale mixers, scales, robot coupes

- Strong piping skills and ability to finish and decorate pastries
- Hotel experience highly preferred
- Open availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
- Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
- Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
- Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
