Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- minimum 3 years experience in similar role preferred
- ServSafe training preferred
- basic math and computer/tablet skills
- ability to stay professional in stressful environment
- ability to work in a team environment
- available to work varying hours including weekends, days, nights, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- make all bread for the restaurant
- execute components of various desserts
- follow recipes perfectly to maintain a standardized product
- keep up with an ever-rotating list of items needing to be prepared
- follow a par sheet and prep list daily to ensure all items are properly stocked and the restaurant is prepared for service
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment throughout the entire shift
- scrub floors and deep clean work area at the end of each shift
- operate oven, stovetop, large mixers, and other kitchen equipment appropriately and safely
- make various types of ice cream and sorbet
- understand the various reactions between foods when combined with heat, cold, and chemicals
- adhere to food safety guidelines and procedures
- properly plate dishes using various plating techniques
- communicate changes, shortages, or variations of menu items to chef, managers, and staff
- maintain proficient knife skills
- work different stations and follow different recipes
- correct errors quickly and never present subpar food
- maintain items in walk-in coolers including labeling, consolidating, and rotating
- set up the line including rotation of dated items
- understand and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- remain organized throughout shifts to ensure timeliness and accuracy of food orders
- ensure proper quality, freshness, preparation, cooking times, temperatures, consistency, and presentation of every food item
- track and report any food waste
- scrub floors, walls, coolers, and work area at the end of the shift
- report equipment failures or hazards immediately
- work efficiently and complete tasks within assigned time frames
- attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute meaningfully
- perform side duties as requested
