We are currently seeking a dedicated and talented Pastry Cook Baker to join our Food and Beverage team. This full-time position plays a vital role within our kitchen operations, responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread products. The ideal candidate will not only excel in executing business-standard recipes but will also have a creative flair for developing new and exciting dessert items to enhance our menu and engage our guests. The Pastry Cook Baker will act as an ambassador of our brand, taking personal ownership and demonstrating a deep commitment to the quality and standards of our baked goods. This role requires extensive knowledge of baking techniques, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills. Key aspects of the job include managing inventory, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, and accommodating special orders such as custom birthday cakes. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 1+ year experience as a Pastry Cook/Baker
  • Must be able to attain an online food handler certificate
  • Knowledge of basic baking techniques
  • Knowledge of how a recipe works

Job Duties

  • Prepare desserts, pastries, and other baked goods using business recipes while operating large-volume cooking equipment
  • Prepare and maintain ingredients, tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and merchandise
  • Restock daily all pastries, cakes, pies, and other baked goods
  • Ensure the product is stored, prepared, and served according to specifications and standards
  • Execute pastry orders for catered events and accommodate special requests
  • Prepare garnishes for baked items
