Job Requirements

  • Must have previous pastry cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • must possess knowledge of various pastry techniques and methods
  • ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately
  • creativity and attention to detail for plating and presentation
  • strong time management and multitasking skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • culinary education or training is a plus

Job Duties

  • Create and prepare a variety of pastries and desserts according to recipes and standards set by the Pastry Chef
  • decorate and present pastries and desserts in an aesthetically pleasing manner
  • ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all pastries and desserts meet high standards
  • maintain a clean and organized pastry station and kitchen area
  • order and maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
  • collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute special dessert menus for events and weddings
  • assist in training and mentoring new pastry staff members
