Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant pastry or bakery experience
  • Proven expertise in laminated dough production
  • Familiarity with bakery equipment operation
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a bakery, patisserie, or pastry production kitchen
  • Demonstrated skill in mass-producing laminated doughs, including croissants, breads and pastries required
  • Experience with high-volume pastry and bread production preferred
  • Strong knowledge of fermentation, temperature control, and proofing techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with consistency and attention to detail
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and passion for artisanal baking
  • Flexible schedule availability, including afternoons and evenings

Job Duties

  • Produce laminated doughs (croissants, danishes, kouign-amanns, etc.) with precision and consistency
  • Operate sheeters and other bakery equipment safely and effectively
  • Mix, proof, shape, and bake a variety of breads and pastries
  • Assist with pastry prep including fillings, glazes, and other components
  • Follow production schedules to meet daily and weekly volume demands
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout shift
  • Work closely with the Pastry Chef and team to improve processes and product quality
