Job Description

Tatte is a bakery that seeks to provide comfort and joy through their unique pastries, cakes, pies, breads, and treats. They bake everything from scratch using high-quality ingredients. As a Pastry Cook at Tatte, you will be responsible for identifying and selecting ingredients, preparing and mixing dough, cookies, pies, pastries, and confections daily while following a predetermined production schedule.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in high-volume pastry production or similar environment
  • knowledge of ingredient scaling, mixing techniques, custards, baking science, and finishing desserts
  • team player with passion for baking, eye for quality, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
  • ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift, kneel, grasp, and lift up to 50lbs
  • consistent attendance and availability for varied shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to learn bakery equipment operation, multitasking, maintaining product quality, and professional communication with clients.
