Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a pastry kitchen or similar culinary environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work full time in a fast-paced luxury hotel kitchen
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

  • Review production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to produce
  • Prepare and cook baked goods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety compliance
  • Fulfill special requests involving dietary restrictions and allergies
  • Report and correct imperfections and blemishes in pastry products
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency
  • Uphold departmental and hotel standards in all pastry operations
