Job Requirements

  • previous pastry experience and/or a culinary degree is a plus
  • a solid understanding of cooking ingredients and techniques
  • flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary or pastry school training preferred but not required
  • basic understanding of baking techniques and kitchen safety
  • strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • assist in the preparation of a range of delicious pastries and desserts
  • follow pastry culinary standards and recipes with precision
  • operate kitchen equipment safely
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pastry workstations and storage areas
  • properly store and label ingredients and finished products
  • support inventory control and daily prep lists
  • embrace learning opportunities and grow your culinary expertise
  • collaborate with pastry and culinary team members to ensure timely production
