Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior kitchen or culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions from executive or sous chef
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Must have night or weekend availability
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs
  • Prior fine-dining experience preferred
  • Great team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of proper plate presentation and cooking methods

Job Duties

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service such as chopping fruit or preparing sauces
  • Demonstrate general understanding of pastries and piping skills
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
  • Clean up station and manage leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure food is finished simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
