We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and capable Pastry Cook to join our exceptional team of service leaders. This position will work closely with the Pastry Chef in both production and service aspects, providing exposure to a variety of cooking techniques and excellent ingredients. The Pastry Cook will oversee assigned areas of pastry production and contribute to the dynamic pastry program for the restaurants and bakery, including the creation of seasonal specials. The role requires executing recipes, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring punctuality. Working knowledge of basic pastry techniques such as scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing is essential. The Pastry Cook will ensure all necessary items are available at the start of the shift and communicate any needs in an appropriate timeframe to maintain quality standards established by the Chef. The individual must be organized, motivating, possess excellent communication skills, and have a personable attitude. Working knowledge of reservation management systems is highly preferred. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years professional cooking experience in restaurant or similar establishment
  • high school diploma or equivalent education

  • ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English
  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversees assigned areas of pastry production and works service
