The role available at Willows Lodge centers on culinary excellence within the pastry team. As part of this dynamic hospitality environment, the successful candidate will prepare all dishes consistent with the qualities of taste, presentation, and quality as established by the Pastry Chef. This position demands meticulous attention to food safety and storage standards, including proper rotation and maintenance of inventory in food storage areas. The role also requires maintaining a clean, orderly workspace that supports the entire kitchen team, promoting efficiency and safety. Employees in this role work regularly with kitchen tools and equipment and operate in an environment that may be physically demanding, requiring frequent standing, lifting, and movement in a fast-paced and occasionally noisy kitchen setting.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Related culinary or pastry experience or equivalent education
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a hot, noisy kitchen environment
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Related experience in culinary or pastry programs preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write simple correspondence
- Strong communication skills for customer and team interactions
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Job Duties
- Prepare all dishes according to quality standards set by the Pastry Chef
