Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Related culinary or pastry experience or equivalent education
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a hot, noisy kitchen environment
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Related experience in culinary or pastry programs preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write simple correspondence
- Strong communication skills for customer and team interactions
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
Job Duties
- Prepare all dishes according to quality standards set by the Pastry Chef
- Maintain food storage areas and rotate food stock
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Follow safety and sanitation regulations in the kitchen
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
- Uphold standards of taste and presentation
