Job Description

Goodnight Hospitality is a distinguished restaurant group based in Houston, Texas, renowned for its commitment to exceptional culinary experiences, vibrant atmospheres, and impeccable hospitality. This dynamic establishment boasts a family of acclaimed restaurants that celebrate quality, creativity, and community. Among these are March, a Michelin one-star fine dining restaurant that explores the rich cuisines and cultural intersections of the Mediterranean; Rosie Cannonball, recognized with a Michelin Bib Gourmand, offering casual Southern European-inspired dining centered around a wood-burning oven and grill; The Marigold Club, a Michelin recommended venue; and Montrose Cheese & Wine, all of which contribute to Goodnight Hospitality's reputation as a leader in Houston's vibrant dining scene.

The Pastry Cook positions at Goodnight Hospitality offer exciting opportunities to join the esteemed pastry teams at March Restaurant and Rosie Cannonball. These roles are designed for passionate and motivated individuals eager to deepen their skills and work under the guidance of renowned pastry chefs like Nicolas Berrais and Jonathan Garza. The pastry team is known for their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to quality, making this an ideal environment for cooks who thrive on creativity and precision. This role is ideal for candidates who appreciate both the artistic and technical aspects of pastry preparation, from dough lamination to plated desserts.

Pastry cooks at Goodnight Hospitality will engage in a collaborative and fast-paced kitchen environment that values growth, learning, and teamwork. The positions encourage continuous improvement, creative problem-solving, and a strong commitment to hygiene and organization. Working across two diverse venues, employees will have the chance to experience a spectrum of pastry styles – from the refined and meticulously researched menus at March to the approachable, seasonally inspired offerings at Rosie Cannonball.

These positions require flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. Employees are expected to embrace the core values of Goodnight Hospitality — humility, ownership mentality, and dedication to excellent hospitality. Candidates will have the opportunity to grow within the company, benefitting from mentorship from industry leaders and a vibrant community of hospitality professionals.
