Job Requirements

  • WA State Food Handler's Card
  • minimum two years pastry experience
  • college degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
  • ability to work extended hours when business necessitates
  • read, write, speak and understand English
  • ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

  • strong creativity and passion for pastry arts
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts using specified recipes
  • assist in the baking and decorating of desserts to meet presentation standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
  • collaborate with chefs and team members to innovate dessert offerings
  • ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • monitor inventory and report supply needs
  • assist with training and mentoring junior pastry staff
