Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a pastry cook in a high-volume kitchen
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Food handler certification
  • Ability to work with heated equipment safely
  • Capacity to stand and move for extended periods
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Punctual and reliable attendance
  • 2 plus years of pastry experience in the kitchen of a high-volume establishment
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Able to work in with heated equipment
  • Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
  • Food handler certified

Job Duties

  • Follow food safety and handling procedures such as product rotation dating and labeling all food items
  • Prepare pastry bakery and prep items in a timely matter
  • Prepare all food items according to the specified cook times to ensure they are safe for customer consumption
  • Follow proper knife handling procedures
  • Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet Goode Company standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables tools knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are met
  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed items
