Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a pastry cook in a high-volume kitchen
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Food handler certification
- Ability to work with heated equipment safely
- Capacity to stand and move for extended periods
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- 2 plus years of pastry experience in the kitchen of a high-volume establishment
- Must be 18 years of age
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Able to work in with heated equipment
- Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
- Food handler certified
Job Duties
- Follow food safety and handling procedures such as product rotation dating and labeling all food items
- Prepare pastry bakery and prep items in a timely matter
- Prepare all food items according to the specified cook times to ensure they are safe for customer consumption
- Follow proper knife handling procedures
- Ensure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet Goode Company standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables tools knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are met
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed items
